And her daughter Roberta Agnes (Ruby) who died 6th December 1918 aged 18. Also her son Thomas DICK who died in infancy. Alexander BELL died 13th March 1963 husband of Rachel Law DICK.

500) Thomas B KEIR died 3rd March 1936 aged 73. First wife Elizabeth Hill THOMSON died 8th April 1895. Children Murray died 1911, Elizabeth died 1912. Second wife Ann HARROW died 14th July 1962 aged 96. Daughter Ann Wright KEIR died 16th August 1985 aged 88.

On December 13th 1888? Robert WILSON aged 80. Margaret JOHNSTON, widow of above Robert WILSON died 22nd December 1904 aged 86. Also their daughter Margaret A.T. WILSON died 21st March 1927 aged 69.

502) Erected by William GARDNER in loving memory of his wife Elizabeth HORN who died 28th December 1919 aged 38 years. And Jessie S. Wilkie GARDNER who died 11th February 1940 aged 56 years. The above William GARDNER who died 29th November 1956 in his 77th year. Also his brother, Lance-Corporal Alexander C.M. GARDNER, 5th Black Watch, who fell in action at Longueval, France 18th July 1916 aged 30 years.

Eldest son James Murray died 18th August 1891 aged 38. Eldest daughter Helen Maria Haslam died 11th June 1898 aged 45, interred Rugby. Youngest son Allen Ewen, M.B. Major I.M.S. died 13th December 1903 aged 41 interred Boscombe.

In July 1837 Melville paid the church ten guineas for the right to enclose his burying ground. Hanley was part of Gogarburn Hospital, now the site of the Royal Bank of Scotland World Headquarters. His wife was the daughter of Vice Admiral Lechmere of Steeple-Ashton, Oxfordshire. There is a memorial window to Melville in St. Johns church, Princes Street.
